Two Final Four teams face off on Praters PlayOn Decals in the inaugural Ally Tip Off
Ally Bank partnered with the Charlotte Sports Commission to create an exciting game to kick off college basketball season – a top 10 match-up with some of the biggest stars of the year.
Last season, Caitlin Clark’s Iowa team made it to the championship and Virginia Tech, led by Elizabeth Kitley and Georgia Amoore, made it to the Final Four. Both teams are back with their eyes set on the championship again, and starting the season with a test.
Men’s hoops have long had big games like this to get fans excited about the season, and Ally Bank saw that as an opportunity to invest in the women’s game. “The majority of sports fans want to watch women’s sports, but in the past access has been limited,” said Andrea Brimmer, chief marketing and public relations officer at Ally. “By partnering with the Charlotte Sports Foundation and ESPN, we’re continuing to invest in access, giving fans the opportunity to watch what they really want. And, as sports fans ourselves, we can’t wait to watch two championship-caliber women’s college basketball teams going head-to-head right here in the Queen City.” Read the full press release here.
Praters shares the desire to help grow women’s basketball, and provided our PlayOn Decals with full court branding so the floor would stand out and make a statement. We partnered with the Charlotte Sports Commission and Ally Bank to make their design ideas come to life and set the stage for some of the best players in the game to compete on.
