step 1

Use wrenches to loosen the nut on the rod control. Wrench size needed may vary from one machine to the next.

step 2

Spin the adjuster control rod so that the lever control ( feather handle ) is positioned properly for your hand. Lever control should be far enough from the handle to allow the drum to make full contact with the floor but close enough to allow you to push the lever completely down; lifting and locking the drum off of the floor.

step 3

Tighten the nut on the rod control to secure the placement of the adjuster control rod.
